00:54 19 May, 2025Reigning champions Inter Milan hosted Lazio and drew 2-2 in the penultimate round of Italian Serie A football.
Inter's German defender Yann Aurel Bisseck opened the scoring in the second minute of the first half. Spanish striker Pedro netted the equalizer in the 76th minute. Dutch defender Denzel Dumfries' goal in the 80th minute gave Inter the lead again. However, Pedro converted a penalty in the final minute of regulation time to double his goal tally in the match.
Former Armenian national football team captain and midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was in the starting line-up for Inter, but he was subbed off in the first minute of added time. Inter are in second place, with 78 points, in the current Serie A standings, and one point behind leaders Napoli, who played a goalless draw with Parma in their away match.
