Armenian athlete representing Russia wins silver medal

Razmik Hunanyan, who represents Russia, captured second place at the European Under 23 Weightlifting Championships being held in Eilat, Israel.  

In the 77-kilogram competition, Hunanyan lifted a combined weight of 335 kilograms—losing to the Greek weightlifter by a mere one kilogram—and won a silver medal.  

To note, Armen Alekyan, who likewise represents Russia, became the gold-medal winner in the 69-kilogram category. Armenia’s representative Zorik Poghosyan, on the other hand, came in fifth.
