World Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships: Armenia’s Harutyun Hovhannisyan becomes silver medalist

Harutyun Hovhannisyan (Armenia) won a silver medal in the men’s super heavyweight competition at the 2025 World Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships that were held in Lima, the capital of Peru.

Hovhannisyan lifted a combined weight of 323 kg (150 kg +173 kg).

In the women’s 81kg competition, Emma Poghosyan (Armenia) lifted a combined weight of 215 kg (95 kg +120 kg) and took fourth place.
