Champions League: Mkhitaryan among 4 candidates for Inter’s Man of the Match
02:03 1 May, 2025Armenian national team former captain and Inter Milan midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is among the four candidates for the Man of the Match award for the Italian Serie A champions’ performance in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinal against Barcelona.
The respective voting is underway on Inter’s social media accounts.
Dutch defender Denzel Dumfries, who netted a brace, French striker Marcus Thuram, who scored once, and Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer are also in the running for this award.
Mkhitaryan’s goal in this match was disallowed by VAR due to offside.
The match in Barcelona had ended in a 3-3 draw.
