Champions League: Barca and Inter play draw, Mkhitaryan's goal not counted

Last season's Spanish La Liga runners-up Barcelona hosted Italian Serie A champions Inter Milan, and they played a 3-3 draw in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinals.

The Milan club's French striker Marcus Thuram opened the scoring in the 30th second.

Dutch defender Denzel Dumfries doubled the visitors' lead in the 21st minute.

Barcelona's 17-year-old star winger Lamine Yamal reduced the deficit in the 24th minute.

Spanish striker Ferran Torres netted the Catalan team's second goal in the 38th minute.

Denzel Dumfries scored a brace and put Inter ahead in the 64th minute.

Inter's Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer scored an own goal in the 65th minute.

Former Armenian national team captain and midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored for Inter in the 75th minute, but this goal was disallowed due to offside.

The second leg will be played on May 6.
