Barcelona Open: Karen Khachanov advances to semis

World No. 27 Karen Khachanov (Russia) has advanced to the semifinals of the Barcelona Open.

In the quarterfinals of this tournament in Spain, the Muscovite Armenian tennis player defeated world No. 30 Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (Spain) in two sets—6:4, 7:5. The match lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes.

In the semis,, Khachanov will face the winner of the quarterfinal clash between world No. 10 Casper Ruud (Norway) and world No. 13 Holger Rune (Denmark).

The prize fund of the Barcelona Open is 2.8 million euros.
