Armenia’s representative loses at quarterfinals

YEREVAN. – The quarterfinal bouts are underway Tuesday at the AIBA (International Amateur Boxing Association) Youth World Boxing Championships Yerevan 2012, which is being held in Armenia’s capital city. And Armenia’s representatives are entering the ring to qualify for the semifinals.

First of the Armenian athletes that competed for a semifinal berth was Taron Soghomonyan (56 kg). He faced an opponent from Cuba, but he lost the bout on points and, as a result, bid farewell to the tournament.
