Serie A: Milan lose to Lazio
01:46 3 March, 2025Last season’s runners-up Milan played against Lazio of Rome at home and lost 1-2 in Round 27 of Italian Serie A football.
The guests opened the scoring in the 28th minute by way of their Italian striker Mattia Zaccagni.
Milan’s Serbian defender Strahinja Pavlovic was sent off in the 67th minute.
Milan scored the equalizer in the 85th minute thanks to a shot by their Nigerian striker Samuel Chukwueze.
And the winning goal for the Rome club was scored by their Spanish striker Pedro—and from a penalty kick in the eighth minute of added time.
Lazio are fourth, with 50 points, in the current Serie A standings, while Milan are ninth, with 41 points.
