3-time Olympic wrestling champion Buvaisar Saitiev dies at 49

Russian three-time Olympic freestyle wrestling champion, Buvaisar Saitiev, has died at the age of 49.

The cause of death is initially believed to be cardiac arrest, championat.com reports.

Saitiev had won Olympic titles in 1996, 2004, and 2008.

Also, he was a six-time (1995, 1997, 1998, 2001, 2003, 2005) world champion, a six-time (1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2006) European champion, and a four-time Russian champion.
