Bundesliga: Leverkusen defeat Hoffenheim

Titleholders Bayer Leverkusen hosted Hoffenheim and won 3-1 in Round 20 of German Bundesliga football.

Nigerian striker Victor Boniface, Dutch defender Jeremie Frimpong, and Czech striker Patrik Schick scored for the hosts.

Leverkusen are second, with 45 points, and six points behind leaders Bayern Munich in the current Bundesliga standing.

Hoffenheim are fifteenth, with 18 points.
