Champions League: Playoff participants decided
02:18 30 January, 2025The group stage of the UEFA Champions League has ended.
Liverpool (England), Barcelona (Spain), Arsenal (England), Inter Milan (Italy), Atletico Madrid (Spain), Bayer Leverkusen (Germany), Lille (France), and Aston Villa (England) have finished in the top eight and automatically qualified for the Round of 16 of this football competition.
Atalanta (Italy), Borussia Dortmund (Germany), Bayern Munich (Germany), Real Madrid (Spain), Milan (Italy), PSV Eindhoven (Netherlands), PSG (France), Benfica (Portugal), Monaco (France), Brest (France), Feyenoord (Netherlands), Juventus (Italy), Celtic (Scotland), Manchester City (England), Sporting Lisbon (Portugal), and Club Brugge (Belgium) have finished 9th to 24th, and therefore will compete in the playoffs for the remaining spots in the Round of 16.
The respective draws will be held Friday.
