Australian Open: Men's singles semifinal pairings announced

The semifinal pairings in the men's singles have been announced at the Australian Open tennis tournament in Melbourne. 
Accordingly, the last spot to the semis was won by world No. 1 Jannik Sinner (Italy), who defeated world No. 8 Alex de Minaur (Australia) in three sets—6:3, 6:2, 6:1—in the quarterfinals.

Sinner will compete with world No. 20 Ben Shelton (USA) for a place in the final.

The other pairing in the semifinals is world No. 2 Alexander Zverev (Germany) and the 24-time Grand Slam champion, world No. 7 Novak Djokovic (Serbia).

The prize fund of the Australian Open is $59.7 million.
