ATP-250: Karen Khachanov and Andrey Rublev reach 1/4 finals in doubles
18:30 30 December, 2024Russians Karen Khachanov and Andrey Rublyov have reached the quarterfinals of the doubles division of the ATP-250 tennis tournament held in Hong Kong.
In the first round they defeated Nam Ji-sung (South Korea) and Coleman Wong (Hong Kong) 6:1, 6:4. The match lasted 54 minutes.
Rublev and Khachanov will fight for a place in the semifinals against Yuki Bhambri (India) and Albano Olivetti (France).
Karen Khachanov, the world's 19th ranked singles player, will start the battle in the second round. His opponent will be the winner of the clash between Canadian Denis Shapovalov, ranked 56th in the world, and Kei Nishikori, ranked 106th in the world.
