Young Armenia fencers win 4 medals in Georgia
23:58 19 November, 2024The Armenian national youth fencing team performed successfully in an international tournament held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.
Gagik Morikyan won the gold medal, Narek Hovhannisyan took the second place, and Khachatur Setoyan and Narek Sahakyan became bronze medal winners, informs the website of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia.
Around 30 fencers from Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Qatar, and Turkey participated in this international tournament.
The youth fencing championship of Armenia is also taking place these days. And based on the results of this championship, the boys' and girls' national teams of the country will be formed, and they will participate in the junior and youth fencing championships to be held in Kutaisi, Georgia, from December 11 to 14.
