Karen Grigoryan and Elina Danielyan - winners of the tournament in Portugal

Grandmaster Karen Grigoryan became the winner of the XVIII Torneio Internacional Figueira da Foz - Sabir Ali tournament in Portugal. The Armenian representative scored 7.5 points out of 9 possible, the Armenian Chess Federation's Facebook page reports.

Grandmaster Elina Danielyan, the leader of the Armenian women's national team, also took part in the tournament. She scored 6 points and took the first place in the women's tournament.
