Armenia national football squad fans’ movement demands federation president’s resignation
00:14 14 October, 2024The First Armenian Front (FAF) movement of fans of the Armenian national football team demand the resignation of the president of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA), Armen Melikbekyan.
Numerous FAF members have gathered outside the FFA office, demanding a meeting with the FFA president, but Melikbekyan did not show up.
As reported earlier, Armenia lost 0-2 to North Macedonia in Yerevan in Matchday 4 of the UEFA Nations League.
After that, Ukrainian coach Oleksandr Petrakov was dismissed from the position of manager of the national football team of Armenia.
North Macedonia had won again 2-0 in the first match between two national teams in Skopje.
North Macedonia are the leaders, with 10 points, in the current standings of Group 4 of the C League. Armenia are second, with 4 points.
