Nations League: Armenia avoid defeat in last seconds in game against Faroe Islands

Armenia were hosted by the Faroe Islands in Torshavn, avoided defeat in the final seconds, and the two teams played a 2-2 draw in Matchday 3 of the UEFA Nations League.

In the 37th minute, Jann Benjaminsen, the defender of Faroe Islands and B36 Torshavn, opened the score of the match.
In the 44th minute, Lucas Zelarayan, the midfielder of Armenia and Saudi Arabia’s Al-Fateh, drew level with a wonderful goal from free kick.

In the 85th minute, Joannes Bjartalid, the midfielder Norway’s Fredrikstad, scored the second goal of the Faroe Islands.
And in the third minute of added time, Armenia's second goal was netted by Gor Manvelyan, the forward Yerevan's Noah.

Earlier in the other match of Group 4 in the C League, North Macedonia were hosted by Latvia and won 3-0.
After three games in Group 4 of the C League, North Macedonia are the current leaders, with 7 points, and 3 points ahead of Armenia, which are in second place.

Latvia are third, with 3 points, and Faroe Islands are last, with 2 points.

On Matchday 4, Armenia will host North Macedonia Sunday in Yerevan.
