Armenia Paralympic team are welcomed in Paris by French Armenians
12:20 27 August, 2024The Armenia national Paralympic team have arrived in Paris, where they will participate in the 2024 Paralympic Games.
The French Armenians welcomed the Armenian athletes at the Paris airport with traditional Armenian salt and bread welcoming ceremony.
Armenia will have three participants in the Paris Paralympic Games. They are Greta Vardanyan (powerlifting), Smbat Karapetyan (wheelchair racing), and Sargis Stepanyan (shot put).
The Paris Paralympic Games will be held from August 28 to September 11.
The competition schedule of Armenia’s athletes are as follows:
August 30
Sargis Stepanyan - Men's Shot Put - F55
September 4
Smbat Karapetyan - Men's 100m wheelchair racing - T54
September 6
Greta Vardanyan - Women's powerlifting up to 61kg
