Cincinnati Masters: World No. 1 wins first match

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner won his first match at the Cincinnati Masters being held in the US.

The Italian tennis star started his campaign in this tournament from the Round of 32 and defeated the world's 57th ranked Alex Michelsen (USA) in two sets: 6:4, 7:5. The match lasted 1 hour and 50 minutes.

The prize fund of the men’s competition at the Cincinnati Masters is $6.7 million.
