Paris 2024: Djokovic reaches the final, will face Alcaraz
23:10 2 August, 2024Novak Djokovic, the second ranked player in the world, has reached the final of the Olympic tennis tournament.
In the semifinals of the Men’s Singles, the Serbian tennis star defeated the world's 16th ranked Lorenzo Musetti (Italy) in two sets: 6:4, 6:2. The match lasted 1 hour and 50 minutes.
Djokovic on Sunday will vie for the Men’s Singles title at the Paris Olympics against world No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz (Spain), who had defeated world No. 19 Felix Auger-Aliassime (Canada) in their semifinal clash.
And the Women's Singles title will be contested Saturday between world No. 7 Zheng Qinwen (China) and world No. 21 Donna Vekic (Croatia).
