Paris 2024: Alcaraz is in the final
17:09 2 August, 2024Carlos Alcaraz (Spain), the third ranked player in the world, has reached the final of the Olympic tennis tournament.
In the semifinals of the Men’s Singles competition at the Paris Games, Alcaraz competed with the 19th ranked player in the world, Felix Auger-Aliassime (Canada) and won in two sets: 6:1, 6:1.
World No. 2 Novak Djokovic (Serbia) and world No. 16th Lorenzo Musetti (Italy) will face each other in the evening for the other spot to the final.
The Women's Singles title will be contested Saturday between world No. 7 Zheng Qinwen (China) and world No. 21 Donna Vekic (Croatia).
