23:33 31 July, 2024Spain's Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz failed to reach the semifinals of the Olympic doubles tournament.
In the quarterfinals of the Paris Games they lost to Americans Rajeev Ram Ram and Austin Krajicek with the score 2:6, 4:6. The match lasted 1 hour and 27 minutes.
Nadal, 38, played his last match at the Olympics. He lost in the second round of the singles match to Novak Djokovic, the second ranked player in the world. Nadal is the 2008 Olympic singles champion. In 2016, he won the Olympic doubles title with Marc Lopez.
