Paris 2024. Varsenik Manucharyan's result
13:30 27 July, 2024Varsenik Manucharyan, the first representative of Armenia, took part in the 100-meter butterfly qualification race at the swimming tournament of the 33rd Summer Olympic Games, which started in the French capital Paris.
Armenia's leading swimmer took part in the first competition of this style. He recorded a result of 1.01:24 seconds and failed to overcome the barrier of the qualifying stage. The 21-year-old took third place in the first competition. Manucharyan is 26th among 32 competitors.
The swimmers ranked 1-16 have reached the semifinals, two more are in the reserve. At the qualification stage, the best result was achieved by Yufei Zhang, vice-champion of the Olympic Games in Tokyo, representative of China, with a time of 56:50 seconds.
