Euro 2024: Spain qualify for Round of 16
00:54 21 June, 2024Spain have qualified for the Round of 16 at UEFA Euro 2024.
In the second round of the group stage, they faced defending European champions Italy and won 1-0.
Italy and Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori scored an own goal in the 55th minute.
In Group B, Spain are currently first, with 6 points, and Italy are second, with 3 points. Albania and Croatia have 1 point each.
In the first round, Spain had defeated Croatia 3-0, and Italy had beaten Albania 2-1.
The host nation, Germany, were the first to qualify for the Round of 16 of Euro 2024.
