“Roland Garros": Daniil Medvedev left out of the competition
19:01 3 June, 2024Daniil Medvedev, the fifth ranked player in the world, has finished his fight at the French Open. In the 1/8 finals, the Russian tennis player fought with the Australian, ranked 11th in the world Alex de Minaur, who won 4:6, 6:2, 6:1, 6:3. The fight lasted 2 hours and 50 minutes.
De Minaur will play in the quarterfinals of Roland Garros for the first time.
His next opponent will be the winner of the confrontation between Germany's Alexander Zverev, the fourth ranked player in the world, and Denmark's Holger Rune, the 13th ranked player in the world.
The prize money at "Roland Garros" is 53.4 million euros.
