Ice Hockey World Championship: Semifinals’ pairings decided

The pairings of the semifinals have been decided as a result of the quarterfinals of the men's 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship being held in the Czech Republic.

The respective pairings are as follows:

Sweden vs. Czech Republic

Canada vs. Switzerland

The semifinals will be played Saturday.

In the quarterfinals, the Czechs beat the US 1-0, Sweden defeated Finland 2-1 in overtime, Canada beat Slovakia 6-3, and Switzerland defeated Germany 3-1.
