Armenia’s national handball team starts tournament with defeat

YEREVAN. – The IHF/EHF Women’s Challenge Trophy 2012 handball tournament got underway in Bulgaria.

And in its first match, Armenia’s national squad, which is competing in Group B, lost to Latvia’s women by a score of 19-37, the Handball Federation of Armenia official website informs.

Next, Armenian women will face the host nation Bulgaria on Friday.
