Yerevan will host European Under-20 Basketball Championship
14:02 26 March, 2024The 2025 European Under-20 Basketball Championship in Division B will be held in Yerevan, the FBF website reports. The decision was made at a meeting of the FIBA Europe executive committee.
"Over the last 6 months there have been a number of discussions with FIBA Europe regarding our bid because it is a big tournament with a lot of participants.
The guarantees given by the Armenian government and the FBF satisfied FIBA Europe, due to which our bid was recognised as a winner.
The championship will be held in three gymnasiums of Yerevan in July 2025," said BFF Secretary General Artur Nazaryan.
Teams from 24 European countries will arrive in Yerevan.
