Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the former captain of the Armenian national football team and Inter Milan midfielder, spoke highly of Frenchman Arsene Wenger, the former manager of Arsenal, in an interview with Andrea Ranocchia, the former player of Inter and the Italian national squad, on the air of FROG TALKS program of Inter's YouTube channel.

"Wenger is a very intelligent person. When the game didn't work out, he never looked for culprits. Wenger was always kind to the football players and club employees.

He was always looking for good players, not only from a technical point of view, but also from the point of view of human qualities. It was important for Wenger not to spoil the environment.

He wanted to see me in Arsenal, and they exchanged me with Alexis Sanchez. But half a year later, Wenger left, [Unai] Emery came, who was trying to adapt to English football," said Mkhitaryan.

Arsene Wenger left Arsenal in 2018. Mkhitaryan played in this London club in 2018-2019.
