America's Cup. Levon Aronian advances to the final

Levon Aronian (USA), the former leader of the Armenian national chess team, reached the final of the America's Cup held in St Louis, USA.

The Armenian grandmaster knocked out Armenian-American Samuel Sevian (4:2) in the quarter-finals and defeated American Fabiano Caruana 4:2 in the semi-finals. Aronian won two lightning-fast playoff games.

Aronian's opponent in the final will be Ray Robson, who eliminated Wesley So.
