Al-Hilal are world record holders for number of consecutive wins

Al-Hilal won for the 28th time in a row and improved their world record for the number of consecutive wins.

The Saudi Arabian football club defeated fellow Saudi team Al-Ittihad 2-0 in the second leg of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League quarterfinals and reached the semifinals of this competition.

Al-Hilal broke the record of Wales’ The New Saints (27 consecutive wins), which was achieved in 2016.
