CONCACAF Champions Cup: Messi, Suarez goals save Inter Miami from defeat

Inter Miami were hosted by Nashville, and they played a 2-2 draw in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) Champions Cup.

Canadian striker Jacob Shaffelburg scored Nashville’s goals in the fourth and 47th minutes.

In the 52nd minute, however, Inter Miami’s Argentinian star forward Lionel Messi reduced the goal difference. And Uruguayan star striker Luis Suarez equalized the score in the 5th minute of added time.

The second leg between these two clubs will be played on March 14.
