La Liga: Girona beat Rayo Vallecano

Girona hosted Rayo Vallecano in the 26th round of the Spanish La Liga, and defeated their guests 3-0.

Ukrainian striker Viktor Tsyhankov opened the scoring in the 52nd minute, and Brazilian forward Savio scored twice in added time.

Girona are second, with 59 points, in the current La Liga standings, and 2 points ahead of titleholders Barcelona in third place. Current leaders Real Madrid have 65 points, and Rayo Vallecano are fourteenth, with 25 points.
