Yervand Mkrtchyan wins gold medal in Istanbul (photo)

Armenia's representative Yervand Mkrtchyan won a gold medal at the Balkan countries' athletics championship, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport reported.

The Gyumri athlete took first place in the 1500m race.
