Reigning champions Bayern Munich hosted Union Berlin, in their rescheduled match from the 13th round of the German Bundesliga, and won 1-0.

Bayern are second, with 44 points, and are 4 points behind the leaders, Bayer Leverkusen, in the current Bundesliga standings. Union Berlin are fifteenth, with 14 points.
