La Liga: Atletico beat Real 3-1 in Madrid derby

Atletico Madrid played host to Real Madrid in the sixth round of the Spanish La Liga and won 3-1.

Real Madrid suffered their first defeat after five wins and are third, with 15 points, in the current La Liga standings. Atletico are fifth, with 10 points.

The leaders are Barcelona, with 16 points. Second-place Girona have the same number of points.
