Euro 2024 qualifiers: Armenia squad heads for Turkey

The Armenian national football team has left for Turkey.

They will be hosted by the Turks Friday in the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying round, and will host Croatia on September 11 in Yerevan.

The fifth-round match between Turkey and Armenia will be played Friday in Eskisehir, Turkey and will start at 10:45pm Armenia time.

The current leaders in group D of the Euro 2024 qualifiers are Turkey, which have 9 points in four games. Armenia are second, with 6 points after three games. Croatia have played two matches and are third, with 4 points. Fourth place Wales also have 4 points, but having played four matches. And Latvia are last, after three defeats, in the current standings of this group.
