La Liga: Getafe and Barca play goalless draw, 3 red cards shown
01:44 14 August, 2023Reigning champions Barcelona were hosted by Getafe, and they played a goalless draw in the opening round of the new season of the Spanish La Liga.
But in the 42nd minute, Barca’s Brazilian midfielder Rafinha was red carded for elbowing his opponent in the head.
In the 57th minute, Getafe's Spanish forward Jaime Mata was sent off for a second yellow card.
And in the 70th minute, Barcelona manager Xavi received a red card for complaining about the refereeing.
