Armenian vice-champion “Pyunik”, Russian midfielder Mikhail Kovalenko, Nigerian forward Taofik Djibril and Russian assistant head coach Roman Monaryov were unable to travel to Estonia for the return match of the first qualifying round of the Conference League against “Narva Trans.” The Lithuanian consulate in Armenia did not issue them visas.

This was stated by Pyunik president Artur Soghomonyan in a conversation with Championat.com, who urged UEFA not to violate the principles of fair sports competition by depriving the team of its leading players from participation.

The match between “Narva Trans” and “Pyunik” will be held on July 20 and will start at 19:30 Yerevan time. "Pyunik” won the first match in Yerevan with a score of 2:0.
