The 7-time winner of "Grand Slam" tournaments, 42-year-old American Venus Williams lost in the first round of the WTA 250 tournament held in Hertongenbosch, the Netherlands.

The world's 696th racket competed with the world's 202nd racket, 17-year-old Swiss Celine Naef, who won 3:6, 7:6 (7:3), 6:2.

The fight lasted 2 hours and 20 minutes.
