Men’s world No.1-ranked Carlos Alcaraz has reached the semifinals of the French Open (Roland-Garros).
In the quarterfinals, the Spanish tennis star competed with Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece), the fifth ranked player in the world, and won in three sets: 6:2, 6:1, 7:6 (7:5).
In the semifinals, Alcaraz’s opponent will be world's third ranked Novak Djokovic (Serbia), who had defeated the world's
11th ranked, Muscovite Armenian Karen Khachanov (Russia), in the quarterfinals.
The prize fund of the French Open is 49.6 million euros.
