French Open: Elina Avanesyan advances to 3rd round

Women’s world No. 134-ranked Elina Avanesyan (Russia) has reached the third round of the French Open (Roland-Garros).

In the second round, the Russian Armenian tennis player faced world No. 124 ranked Leolia Jeanjean (France) and won in two sets: 6:0, 7:5. The match lasted 1 hour and 13 minutes.

Avanesyan's opponent the third round will be Clara Tauson (Denmark).

The prize fund of the French Open is 49.6 million euros.
