Euro 2024 qualifiers: France, Netherlands win, Azerbaijan lose 0-5 (VIDEO)
00:39 28 March, 2023The national teams in Groups B, E, F, and G on Monday played their second matches in the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying tournament.
In Group B, France were hosted by Ireland and won 1-0 (video). France had beaten the Netherlands 4-0 in the first round and are the current leaders of this group, with 6 points. In the second round, the Dutch defeated Gibraltar 3-0 (video).
In Group E, Moldova and the Czech Republic played to a goalless draw. Poland defeated Albania with a score of 1-0. The current leaders in this group are the Czech Republic, with 4 points. Poland have 3 points, and Moldova—2 points.
In Group F, Sweden hosted Azerbaijan and won 5-0 (video). Austria beat Estonia 2-1. In the first round, Azerbaijan had lost to Austria by a score of 1-4, and Sweden were beaten by Belgium by a score of 0-3.
In Group G, Serbia defeated Montenegro (3 points) 2-0 and are the current leaders of this group, with 6 points. Hungary, which defeated Bulgaria 3-0, are second, with 3 points.
