Ronaldo sets records: 197 appearances, 100 goals for Portugal (PHOTOS)
11:03 24 March, 2023Cristiano Ronaldo, the 38-year-old star striker of Portugal and Al Nassr, has set two records by entering the pitch and scoring two goals in Portugal's UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying tournament match against Liechtenstein (4-0).
Accordingly, Ronaldo made his 197th appearance for Portugal and surpassed the records of 38-year-old Kuwaiti footballer
Bader Al Mutawa (196 appearances) and former Malaysian player Soh Chin Ann (195 appearances) for the most number of appearances for a national team.
Also, Ronaldo became the first footballer to net 100 goals for Portugal's in their official matches.
