European Women's Chess Championship. Armenia's Mkrtchian, Danielian win, are half point behind current leader

Elina Danielian and Lilit Mkrtchian, the leaders of the Armenian women’s national chess team, won in the fourth round of the European Women's Chess Championship in Montenegro, and are half a point behind current leader Irina Bulmaga (Romania), who has four wins.

Mkrtchian defeated Gunay Mammadzada (Azerbaijan) and Danielian beat Stavroula Tsolakidou (Greece) and they have 3.5 points each, sharing  second to ninth places.

Among the other representatives of Armenia, Anna M. Sargsyan (2.5 points) also won, Mariam Mkrtchyan (2.5) and Susanna Gaboyan (2) played draws, whereas Polina Kobak (2) lost.

Eleven rounds will be held at the European Women's Chess Championship.
