World’s richest man considers buying Spanish football club

Mexican business magnate Carlos Slim is preparing to invest hefty sums in a Spanish La Liga football team. This club will not only grow, but, also, it will play for a championship title, Marca reports. It is assumed that this team will be Atlético Madrid.

There is talk, ever since the year past, that the shares of the Madrid club will be sold, football.ua writes.    

According to Forbes business magazine, Carlos Slim is the world’s richest man in 2010, 2011, and 2012. His wealth has been estimated at US$68.6 billion
