Sergio Ramos: We will still be back
09:06 10 March, 2023Sergio Ramos, the Spanish defender of current French Ligue 1 champions PSG, has apologized to the fans of the Parisian club for not reaching the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League.
In the second leg of the Round of 16 of this football competition, PSG lost to reigning German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich with a score of 0-2. And in the first leg in Paris, they had lost 0-1.
"This result was a deep disappointment for us as well as for you. We did not show a Champions League level game. We did not pay attention to details, we could not achieve the goal. It's sad, but champions stand up after defeats and become stronger. We will still be back," Ramos wrote on social media.
PSG have not overcome the Round of 16 “hurdle” of the Champions League for the second season in a row.
