SPAL fire De Rossi

Italy's SPAL have fired Daniele De Rossi as the team's head coach, the club's press office reports. The 39-year-old Italian had been in charge of the team since October 2022.   

When De Rossi arrived, SPAL were in 14th place in Serie B. Under De Rossi's guidance, the team dropped four spots to 18th place with 24 points.

Daniele De Rossi played for Roma from 2002 to 2019.
