Gareth Bale makes successful start to golf tournament
11:57 3 February, 2023Gareth Bale, the former Real Madrid and Welsh national team player, has made a successful start at the PGA Tour golf tournament in California. In the amateur golf tournament, Gareth Bale is ranked 18th out of 156 participants after the first day of competition.
The tournament's prize pool is $9 million.
Gareth Bale announced the end of his professional soccer career on January 9. His last club was the American Los Angeles. He also played in English Southampton and Tottenham, Spanish Real Madrid.
The total prize pool for all PGA Tour tournaments is $427 million. 2022 from September through 2023 The August PGA Tour calendar includes 50 tournaments.
