FIDE։ Nepomnyashchy moves up to second place for first time, Aronian is 17th

Russian grandmaster Yan Nepomnyashchy moved up to second place for the first time in the monthly rating table of the International Chess Federation. The world champion Magnus Carlsen (Norway) is in the lead. China's Ding Liren is in third place.

Yan Nepomnyashchy and Ding Liren will play for the world title in April.

U.S. Levon Aronian is in 17th place.

Armenia's Gabriel Sargsyan (2699) is ranked 41st and Hayk M. Martirosyan (2686) is ranked 51st.
